Hi, I’m Cass — a lifelong lover of the little things, Philly sports super-fan, and unapologetic oat milk cappuccino devotee. After years of photographing friends between shifts as a registered nurse (and now as a nurse practitioner student), I turned my hobby into Lightwork by Cass: a photography business devoted to capturing the light in every soul.


Nursing taught me to listen first; photography lets me translate what I hear into honest, luminous images. Whether we’re chasing golden hour on the beach or working with a sleek, minimalist backdrop, I look for those quiet instants where real personality breaks through. My goal is simple: capture you as you truly are—no forced smiles, no canned poses—just the light that’s already there.

What types of sessions do you offer?

I specialize in portraits—individual, couples, family, lifestyle, and professional headshots. Have an idea for a different kind of shoot? Get in touch so we can collaborate!

How do I book a session?

Send an inquiry through the contact form — I’ll follow up with availability, package options, and next steps. See you soon!

What's your rescheduling/cancellation policy?

I kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or changes. Your session fee is non-refundable but transferable if you reschedule.

What should I wear to my session?

After booking, I will send you a style guide that gives you some outfit inspiration. Most importantly, pick items that are comfortable and feel like you. A couple pointers to get you started:

  • Outfit Dos: Neutral colors, moveable fabrics, coordination
  • Outfit Don'ts: Bright neons, restrictive clothing, logos/graphics
What happens if it rains?

We’ll reschedule at no extra cost. Flexibility is part of the process when working with natural light.
